Virgin signs up TreadClimber

Nautilus has signed an agreement with the Virgin Active health and fitness chain for the supply of TreadClimbers to its clubs.

Virgin Active - which operates more than 70 clubs in the UK - has signed a three stage agreement with fitness company Nautilus, which will see them introduce 70 TreadClimbers across 15 of their clubs in late June.

This will be followed by a further two stages to introduce the TreadClimber into an additional 21 Virgin Active Clubs in the UK over the next four months.

The deal follows the recent seal of approval from Virgin Active members, who had the opportunity to test and supply feedback on the TreadClimber.

Andy Birch, National Product Development Manager for Virgin Active said: “The trial we ran at Virgin Active Northampton with just two units produced some 500+ feedback forms in two weeks, all of which were extremely positive.

"With six units going into most clubs we're confident that the majority of our members will love this new piece of equipment.”
